What differentiates this community-based program from other adult day programs?

We have a consistent “home base” location in Boynton Beach where members meet at 9:00am and return by 2:00pm each day for our Day Program, but many of our activities take place out in the community. Examples include visits to local museums, exploring nature centers, volunteering at beach cleanups, and participating in recreational sports and activities.

Who is eligible to join?

Adults 18+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities are welcome to apply for this program. Please see our Join Us page to fill out an application.

How do I get to become a member or added to the waitlist?

Please visit our Join Us tab to complete an application. Once your application is approved, you will receive an email with the next steps. Once registered in our system feel free to start signing up for our events! Social events are open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. Is transportation provided?

iCare does not provide transportation to and from the program. Members are responsible for arranging their own drop-off and pick-up. However, when we go out into the community during program hours, we use our iCare multi-passenger vans for group travel. Social Events: Members are required to meet and be picked up at the designated location listed in the event logistics. For certain events, we offer North County transportation with pick-up and drop-off at the Palm Beach Gardens Mall for members living in Northern Palm Beach County. A ticket price is available for this option at events where North County transport is offered.

What form of payment do you accept?

We accept private pay and CDC+. Payments can be made by credit card, debit card, or Apple Pay.

When are payments due?

Payments are due at the time of registation

Where will dropoff and pickup be?

Day Program: At our home office located at 235 SW 6th Ave, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. Social Events: Drop-off and pick-up details will be provided in the logistics information sent with each event registration.

Will there be activities that cost extra?

No. If an activity requires additional money, it will be communicated in the logistics email sent before the event. Day Program emails are sent by 3:00pm the day prior, and Social Event emails are sent 1–2 days before the event.

What will Day Program members do for lunch?

Members should bring their own lunch unless stated otherwise. If we plan to eat out, members and their parents/guardians will be notified in advance so members can bring money with them.

What is your refund policy?

Day Program: We are unable to offer credit for missed days. The Day Program is structured so that families pay the full monthly amount to maintain their member’s ongoing spot on the roster. This ensures we can cover prepaid costs for instructors, activities, and other program expenses, keeping the program sustainable for all participants. Social Events: You may cancel your registration and receive a refund if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the start of the event.
