Executive Director Samantha “Sami” Majors began her journey with the iCare Program in 2021 as a dedicated volunteer. Her passion for the mission and strong connections within the community led to her appointment as Day Program Director, where she developed and launched the iCare Day Program in 2023 in response to families’ requests for a full-day program that maintained iCare’s unique “without walls” philosophy and community-based approach. Sami holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University, graduating summa cum laude. Having grown up with her younger brother, who is on the autism spectrum, she has long been a passionate advocate for inclusion and empowering individuals of all abilities. She is proficient in American Sign Language and certified in Professional Crisis Management, First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS) and behavior de-escalation techniques. Promoted to Executive Director in 2025, Sami now oversees more than 20 on- and off-site programs and events each month, manages staff and volunteers, develops community partnerships, leads the organization’s annual fundraising efforts, and maintains meaningful relationships with iCare members and their families. With over seven years of experience working with adults with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities, she remains committed to expanding opportunities for inclusion, independence, and community engagement.
Program Manager Rebecca Shelpman, Becky, has dedicated the past 14 years to supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She holds an Associate Degree in Human Services and a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Science from Ohio University. Rebecca began her career providing direct care services to adults with intellectual disabilities and spent more than five years working in a group home setting. She later joined a large residential facility in Pike County, Ohio, where she served as a Qualified Mental Health Professional. In this role, she was responsible for developing individualized plans and goals for residents, supervising a team of direct care staff, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a large on-site group home. As Program Manager at iCare Program, Rebecca utilizes her extensive experience in program development, staff supervision, and participant support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services. Her responsibilities include overseeing weekend social event operations and scheduling, coordinating program logistics, supervising staff, and supporting participant engagement within the Adult Day Program. Rebecca is committed to creating meaningful opportunities that promote independence, social connection, and personal growth for adults with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. ![]() Administrative Assistant Bianca “B” brings a diverse professional background and a passion for helping others to the iCare team. Her experience includes working in Outpatient Mental Health Services at Jerome Golden Center for Behavioral Health as well as administrative support roles with Palm Beach County Youth Services. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Development, which has strengthened her organizational, communication, and leadership abilities. As iCare’s Administrative Assistant, B plays a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly. From coordinating day-to-day administrative tasks to assisting with program logistics, member communication, and event preparation, she is always ready to step in and help wherever needed. Families often recognize her as the friendly voice behind emails and phone calls, as she works diligently to ensure members and guardians receive timely support and information. Currently pursuing a nursing degree, B is passionate about combining her academic knowledge with hands-on experience to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is also certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Professional Crisis Management, and behavior de-escalation techniques, ensuring she is well-equipped to support members in a safe, compassionate, and professional manner. Her dedication to learning and service reflects her commitment to providing the highest level of care and support to the iCare community.
Outreach Specialist Kelli brings energy, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for serving others to every aspect of the iCare Program. After officially joining our team in 2023—following her time as a dedicated volunteer companion to our members—she quickly became an invaluable part of the iCare family. As our Outreach Specialist, caregiver, and swim instructor, Kelli consistently demonstrates compassion, patience, and encouragement while helping members build confidence, develop new skills, and engage with their community. She is often the friendly face representing iCare at monthly outreach events hosted by the City of Boynton Beach, as well as transition resource fairs and community events throughout Palm Beach County. Her ability to connect with individuals, families, and community partners has helped expand awareness of iCare’s mission and services. Kelli is committed to providing safe and supportive experiences for our members and holds certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Professional Crisis Management, and behavior de-escalation techniques. These credentials, combined with her caring nature and positive attitude, make her a trusted advocate and support person for the individuals we serve.
Program Nurse Amy joined the iCare team in late 2024 and has quickly become an invaluable member of the organization. She is passionate about being part of a supportive and dynamic team and enjoys sharing her extensive knowledge and dedication to nursing. Amy is a Registered Nurse with 17 years of inpatient hospital experience, primarily caring for adult patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology. She holds current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Professional Crisis Management, bringing a wealth of expertise and compassionate care to those she serves. |
Program Assistant
Caitlynn was born and raised in the sunny land of California where she earned her bachelors degree in Aquatic Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). After getting married, she moved with her husband to Florida, where she attended the University of Miami and earned her masters in Marine Conservation. For her masters project, Caitlynn partnered with Sea Turtle Adventures as their summer intern and created curriculum for their summer teaching series, Junior Marine Biologist Boot Camp, where she taught iCare participants about marine conservation. Caitlynn is continuing to teach environmental education for adults with disabilities, and is excited to be a part of iCare’s mission and offer unsolicited ocean facts to anyone who will listen.

Operations Specialist
Robert “Bob” Kiekenapp was raised in South Florida and has a lifelong love for fishing and boating. Around iCare, Bob is affectionately known as our very own “Bob the Builder” because there is rarely a project he can’t tackle. Whether it’s repairing our vehicles, maintaining our facility, setting up for events, or handling the countless unexpected tasks that arise, Bob is always ready to lend a helping hand.
As iCare’s maintenance and operations support specialist, he plays a vital role behind the scenes, ensuring our programs, events, and equipment run smoothly and safely. His reliability, problem-solving skills, and willingness to jump in wherever needed make him an invaluable member of our team.
Bob is certified in CPR, First Aid, and AED, further demonstrating his commitment to the safety and well-being of our members and staff. His dedication, hard work, and positive attitude help keep iCare moving forward every day. We are grateful to have our own “Bob the Builder” on the team, fixing, building, and improving everything in between!
